Mr & Mrs Bailey | Quorn Grange Hotel Wedding

We had the absolute pleasure of capturing this fitness loving couples’ big day; at the Quorn Grange Hotel on the 21st October 2018. An autumn wedding can make the weather pretty un-predictable, but Dan and Lara were nothing but smiles, come rain or shine!

Besides who needed the sunshine with this bride, and her show stopping, pink hair.

The morning proved to be a whole lot of fun, with both the bridal and the groomsmen preparations underway. The girls enjoyed drinks and posed for photos, whilst Lara’s hair was in rollers, they all wore some amazing personalised ‘Bride Tribe’ tops. The men did what they do best, which was to get ready in record timing! They all looked super smart in their suits with matching royal blue detail. Lara looked every inch the glamourous Bride, her bridesmaids who were dressed in beautiful vintage pink dresses, helped her into a sweetheart fishtail dress, adorned with lace and sparkles, not forgetting the statement red lips to finish off the look.

The happy couple were married amongst many family and friends who showered them with bright confetti, and celebrated with them throughout the night. Huge ‘LOVE’ letters lit up the room as the two romantically danced the night away.

We wish Mr and Mrs Bailey all the best in their future together x

Mr & Mrs Hibbitt | Ladywood Estate

It’s always great when guests from previous weddings get in touch and want you to film their big day too! We were so excited about this wedding, which was captured on the 6th October 2018 at the amazing Ladywood Estate.

Ilona and Shaun also hired the use of a drone which meant we had some amazing footage to include of their location which really set their wedding film up perfectly. The morning preparations set the tone of this wedding nicely, with the Bride and her entourage wearing  personalized satin dressing gowns as they had their makeup beautifully applied, and their hair pinned up very naturally. Ilona’s maids couldn’t resist a bit of selfie fun whilst sipping their champagne.

The first clue of the stunning styling of this wedding came in the form of the bridesmaid’s dresses and shoes, in my favourite colour, rose gold… sequined rose gold no less! The ladies flowers complimenting their dresses with blush pinks amongst the foliage. Ilona was helped into her high neck lace gown, which was simply stunning with an open back and add on train to the lower part that flowed so elegantly as she walked. The Groom and his friends certainly enjoyed the morning as they shared some drinks, gifts, and helped each other with getting to grips with their wedding attire. There wasn’t a nerve insight!

The room at Ladywood was styled with yet more rose gold sequin detail, beautiful crisp white flowers and a white aisle carpet to guide the bride to a very tearful Groom. In fact, as the sounds of the violins began to play with Ilona entering the room, her bridesmaids were very emotional too. The couple were very relaxed, and couldn’t stop smiling as they exchanged vows, and the stunning flowers surrounding them, made for some amazing frames and backdrops whilst filming them.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds, enjoyed some time together with their amazing photographer Ian Bursill. The rain held off, so we took the opportunity to get some beautiful footage of them, being them! The most natural footage is the best, when couples are in their little bubble of love and it feels like there’s no one else around. Perfect!

It was then on to a fun filled afternoon and evening, of speeches, eating, drinking, a ton of dancing but lets not forget the ‘cake’ that would make any cheese lovers day!

We wish Mr and Mrs Hibbitt all the best in their future together x

Mr & Mrs Lavin | Hothorpe Hall Wedding

Well there is one word that screams from this couples’ big day, and that is, FAMILY!

David and Kirsty have been together for a number of years and had their biggest cheerleaders there with them on the big day, their son and daughter. The family became united at the beautiful Hothorpe Hall on the 12th August 2018.

The morning preparations were super relaxed, Kirsty and her bridesmaids had huge smiles on their faces whilst they had makeup applied by another of our brides, Kaye Salmon Make up. As the bride sat having her plaited hair pinned up, her daughter sat on her lap giving us some cheeky faces for the wedding films.  As the bridesmaids giggled looking pretty in pale pink, the groom and his boys were getting ready for the big day ahead; and getting their hair in check was a big priority, we love the special moment between David and his son as he gels his hair in place! The pink detail continued throughout, on their ties and flower boutonnieres. The bride looked simply classic, a real natural beauty. As she was walked down the aisle to meet her husband to be, David was clearly wowed by his bride, and the two couldn’t take their eyes off each other, as they took their vows to one another.

Our favourite, part of the day, is when couples have just tied the knot, and can now have some time to take it all in. The woodlands at Hothorpe Hall are picturesque and make the most beautiful back drop for newlyweds to relax and have their love story documented.

A toastmaster announced the couples’ entry back to all their guests who waited for the fun to begin. Their heart warming and funny speeches led to a night of ‘flossing’ thanks kids! The celebrations oozed family, friendship and love, and we especially loved that their first dance was with their babies too, super special!

We wish Mr and Mrs Lavin and their family, all the very best in their future together x

Mr & Mrs Foster | Stubton Hall Wedding

What a heart bursting romantic wedding this was! This adorable couple tied the knot alongside their incredible family and friends at the stunning Stubton Hall on the 4th August 2018.

The bridal party looked fresh faced and excited for the big day ahead, as they wore gorgeous personalised satin dressing gowns. The dream team that is Rochelle O’Brien Makeup artist and Helen Sutcliffe hair worked together to get the bridal party looking wedding ready, and wow they looked beautiful! As the bridesmaids put on their pink dresses and the flower girls twirled in theirs, it was the big moment for Chelsea. We know Chelsea is a lover of Disney and wow she totally looked every inch the princess, in her lace princess gown; adorned with sparkle.

A truly special moment was captured on film as she unveiled her look to her dad. I think the footage says it all, he was very emotional, and these moments truly showed the love the family all have for each other. The Groom was keeping his cool alongside his family and friends, as they all helped each other look super smart, in their blue suits complimented by pink flower boutonnieres and matching ties. They all enjoyed time in Stubton’s chocolate room which is truly fit for royalty, as their photographer Sam Hook snapped away.

The couple’s ceremony was equally as romantic, they spoke their own written vows and I don’t think there was a dry eye. The rooms were full of gorgeous pink flowers adding to the picturesque venue and styling. The newlyweds had some time on their own to pose for their official photos, which meant we could capture these special times on film. It was then onto the most entertaining speeches we have ever seen! Heartfelt words were spoken of the happy couple, and out of nowhere, a waiter hits the floor… literally! Then we realise as they burst into song, they are singing waiters and they soon had everyone on their feet, with their arms waving. The party continued long into the night with more dancing, amazing food and drinks flowing as the band played. What a great day!!

We wish Mr and Mrs Foster and their family, all the very best in their future together x

Mr & Mrs Talbot | Thorpe Arnold Wedding

Natasha and Jamie tied the knot on 28th July 2018, at Thorpe Arnold church celebrating at Thorpe Arnold Cricket Club.

Right from the off I knew how important family was to this couple, it was actually Natasha’s Nan who welcomed me in to her home to chat about her family and why capturing her Grand-Daughters big day on film, was so important. We spoke about a great amount of loss in their family and I feel completely honoured that we were able to capture such beautiful family memories. When we met Jamie and Natasha, we also met their very cute daughters, and the plans for their day was to make it a real family get together, but to also remember those who couldn’t sadly be there.

The Bridal preparations took place at Natasha’s home alongside her maid of honour who is also her sister, and her two daughters who were the flower girls. All wore matching bright floral satin dressing gowns and enjoyed a relaxed morning having their hair curled and make up applied. The love they all have for each other shone through as they shared gifts and giggled together. It was soon time for everyone to get their glad rags on and hot pink soon proved to be this weddings colour theme. The bride looked beautiful in an ivory lace sweetheart, A -line dress, with a beautiful long veil complimented with lace. Natasha’s Dad and Nan got their first look, and emotions ran high with tears from them both, they were very obviously proud of their girl. Meanwhile Jamie and his best man were ready in a flash, wearing navy blue with hot pink ties. Both the bridal and grooms party travelled to the church in style, where they were met with their nearest and dearest.

After a beautiful church ceremony, the newlyweds were showered with colourful confetti and a bit of July rain! The family completely styled it out, and it didn’t affect their plans whatsoever, it actually made for some beautiful family footage and photos, as they took shelter on the church grounds. The wedding party took to the wedding breakfast at their marquee, whilst the couple took a stroll in the countryside, and the rain thankfully disappeared. This gave us the perfect opportunity to capture some lovely moments of them being alone for the first time since saying their I do’s. The countryside feel continued in the wedding marquee with pink bunting throughout, hay bales, and lovely family photographs adding a real personal touch. After the cutting of their gorgeous naked cake, they all enjoyed the sweetie cart, the amazing photobooth, plenty of drinks and the dance floor for the rest of the night. A great time had by all!

We wish Mr and Mrs Talbot and their family, all the very best in their future together.

Mr & Mrs Eaton

Tom and Sam became husband and wife at the Quorn County Hotel on the 6th July 2018, and we had the pleasure of capturing their family come together on this very hot day!

The morning preparations began in the bridal suite where the bride and her girls enjoying a champagne breakfast, whilst wearing personalized satin dressing gowns. It was soon time for hair to be pinned up and make up to be applied, with smiles all around they put on their metallic glitter heels and beautiful dresses. Sam looked gorgeous wearing her lace, sweetheart fishtail dress and her dad was every inch the proud father of the bride, when he got the first look. The groom and groomsmen were accompanied by a very special guest, Tom and Sam’s super cute son. He was nothing but excited about the day ahead. All wore gorgeous matching suits, with Tom needing a helping hand with his bow tie, not the easiest job for his best man, but it sure made for some funny footage!

This wedding was our first outdoor wedding at this venue, and there’s truly something special about being out in the fresh air. Everything looked stunning in the sunshine, and the red carpet was literally rolled out for the bride. After their intimate ceremony, the couple, alongside their family posed for their official photos and were definitely in the mood to party, and the room was styled for just that! Whilst the party got started with the band, the guests were further entertained with amazing magic mirrors, funny props, and even a caricature artist. Such a relaxed and fun day, and great to get to know such a lovely happy family.

We wish Mr and Mrs Eaton and their family, all the very best for their future together x

Mr & Mrs Bott | Stapleford Park Wedding Film

The incredibly gorgeous Amy and Elliott tied the knot on 30th June 2018, in a church ceremony, celebrating their marriage at the stunning Stapleford park.

I personally love a theme, and the theme with this couple’s big day was elegance, it ran right through this day from the bridal preparations right through to the first dance. The bride looked completely at ease on the morning, as she sat clinking glasses with her bridesmaids all looking fabulous in their satin robes, they even had some time outside all for the benefit of the photography and of course us!

Amy’s hair and make up was completely stunning and her look was topped off with the most beautiful hair band made up of beading and crystals, and of course the dress, oh the dress! A sleeved lace princess gown, with plunge neckline complimented with a classic veil. Some beautiful moments were captured of Amy and her dad as she helped him with his cufflinks, he looked so proud of his girl. The bridesmaids looked so beautiful in floor length black satin dresses, as they accompanied Amy on her walk to the church, all holding bouquets of pure white flowers in the sunshine.

Elliott and his groomsmen matched the bridal party with the black and white styling, and all looked ready for the bridal party’s big entrance. Amy and Elliott spoke their vows in front of a church full of their family and friends, and it really was magical, the tradition of the bride’s veil being lifted to unveil her face is a rare one these days, so that was a beautiful moment.

The couple travelled in style in a white car onto the grounds of Stapleford park, with not a cloud insight, the bright blue sky and the hot sun made everything that much sweeter! Stapleford suited the newlyweds perfectly as they walked through the buildings and the grounds outside, it is always lovely to work alongside photographers to capture these special moments of reflection, of the day so far.

Inside, the room was styled with white flowers not just on the table in tall arrangements but a wall of beautiful fresh flowers acting as a back drop to the top table. Elliott spoke so many beautiful words about his Bride during his speech and with all the romantic dancing on the sparkling dance floor throughout the night, it was clear to see this couple have a long and happy future ahead of them.

We wish Mr and Mrs Bott all the very best x

Mr & Mrs Edmands | Mythe Barn Wedding Film

The first of our 2018 weddings took us back to one of our favourite venues, Mythe Barn, on the 16th March 2018. We captured a beautiful family come together as the last piece of their puzzle was placed.

The day began with Charlotte meeting with her dad as he gave her the most beautiful gift and what an emotional moment to capture on film. Bridal preparations were underway with a very excitable bridal party as hair and makeup duties began. Charlotte and her girls were so laid back and fun, they just took it all in their stride. Bridesmaids wore full length lilac dresses in different styles, and all waited anxiously to see what the Bride looked like. Charlotte stood in a room ready for her first looks, each bridesmaid and the mother of the bride were completely blown away by how stunning the Bride was. Last but not least, Charlottes Dad entered the room, and it was clear to see he was proud as punch! Charlotte wore a stunning sparkling lace dress with beading draping her back, with a huge bouquet of white flowers to compliment her look. Meanwhile the boys enjoyed a spot of football outside, whilst the men got their sharp suits and bow ties in place. The groom was visibly touched by the gifts from his wife to be. I actually really like this new tradition and it certainly sets the romantic tone for marriage.

The styling had a rustic feel with crates and flowers complimenting the venue perfectly, Charlotte and Nik said their I do’s with the help of their little boy as ring bearer, and confetti showered them as they walked down the aisle hand in hand, smiles beaming! We captured the most beautiful intimate footage of these two love birds, as they walked the grounds at Mythe barn. I know having spoken to Charlotte, how long she had waited for their day to come and by the look of her, it was a dream come true, to marry her one.

Inside, again the room was perfectly styled with gorgeous flowers, greenery, rustic detailing and family photographs, keeping those lost a part of their day. With the wedding breakfast a delight, it was onto the speeches, and they didn’t disappoint! There were tears! To date, the most heart-warming, Father of the Bride speech I’ve heard, just what Charlotte and Nik deserved to start the journey together.

Well…what a party!! The planning of Charlotte and Niks’s reception, suited their personalities spot on! A fun band, suited and booted, got guests to their feet, whilst others checked out the magic mirror for some funny photos to take home. Another thing we’ve not had the pleasure of seeing before, but certainly want to see again, was glitter art! I’m still wondering if a certain bearded guest actually managed to get rid of all that glitter?! Either way, guests of all ages enjoyed it and of course it looked amazing on camera. As drinks flowed and everyone worked up an appetite, Mythe Barn showed us why they are such an amazing wedding venue. They have a pizza oven! What was not to love about this wedding? We are completely honoured we documented their memories to keep.

We wish Charlotte and Nik, and their family, the very best in the future together x

Mr & Mrs Burton

Love birds, Emily and Ben, were married at Ratcliffe College, and celebrated in style at Bawdon Lodge farm on the 2nd September 2017.

This gorgeous bride oozed happiness, her smile got bigger by the second, and how can I not mention her beautiful dimples!  A complete natural in front of the camera and enjoyed every second; with not a nervous look in sight. The morning preparations began at Emily’s mums’ house where she was joined by family and her bridal party. All dressed in amazing floral, satin robes they looked nothing but radiant, as they had hair pinned up and make up applied. It was a beautifully intimate morning of pre wedding drinks, sharing gifts with one another, and making memories. The floral theme continued as the Bridesmaids swapped their dressing gowns for floral dresses, all hung up on handmade, personalized wooden hangers. The bride looked beautiful in a sweetheart fishtail, lace gown, complimented with fresh flowers pinned in her long loose curls. The Groom and groomsmen waited patiently for the Bride, who was walked down the aisle by her very proud brother, and the couple were made Husband and Wife, in Emily’s old school, how cool is that?!

Arriving at a farm is one thing but arriving at a farm with the celebrations taking place in a huge double tipi is another! This venue was amazing, styled with a rustic feel bringing the outdoors in, with the personal touch with photographs of them both on their journey leading up to that day. A saxophonist played as guests were welcomed inside to be seated, whilst the happy couple took some time in the sunny countryside to take it all in.

The best man got creative with the speeches by using a projector to get their laughs as well as sharing a special dance with the Groom, and Emily’s big brother, spoke from the heart as he reminisced about Emily as a girl. The evening turned to a foodies dream, with marshmallows toasting on the open fire pits, and a burger van, which were de-lish!

All full of food and love, with the drinks flowing, this wedding party was ready to dance the night away, and that’s exactly what they did!

We wish Emily and Ben all the very best in their future together x

Mr & Mrs Taylor

Fiona and Andy, were married and celebrated at the Bentley Brook Inn on the 26th August 2017. What an absolute beauty of a day this was! Not just because this was a day where two people came together in marriage, but also because a whole family of all those loved by the couple, could literally have a day they couldn’t forget. Bias, yes, but we are so glad they chose to have all the action and memories made; caught on camera!

Fiona really was the most relaxed Bride, she enjoyed some drinks and a chat whilst she had her hair curled and plaited and make up applied, alongside her bridesmaids who slipped on the most beautiful sequinned gold dresses. Then it was the Brides turn to put on her sweetheart gown adorned with diamanté detail, complimented with sparkling statement jewellery. The Groom and his groomsmen, where quick to put on their navy-blue suits, and so enjoyed a pre wedding get together, to admire what they had to look forward to later in the sunshine! Once the couple were ready for their big moment, both exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony, made even more special by the fact they had hired a beautiful singer Alice, to entertain guests whilst the newlyweds made it official, with the signing of the register. The wedding breakfast was beautifully dressed, with unique themed table names, and a table absolutely jam packed with goodies! The speeches were a complete success as they hit every emotion leading onto the evening fun perfectly.

All the fun of the fair! Fiona and Andy planned a fun fair evening for their guests, including all the classic stalls with plenty of prizes up for grabs. This couple are clearly a lover of music, as they indulged their evening guests with yet another talented singer, whilst guests tucked into fresh crepes, candyfloss and sweets galore! The evening of fun was topped off with a band that got everyone on the dancefloor to celebrate a mega day of love and fun.

We wish Fiona and Andrew all the very best in their future together x
