Chelsie and Ryan’s wedding day took place at St Mary’s Church and the beautiful Sketchley Grange Hotel.
The morning of June 18th began with busy hair and make up prep for the bridal party. A few of the bridesmaids were younger so there was a lot of energy in the house! Balloons flying, bright pink dressing gowns on – they were ready for business! For the adults, champagne bubbled away as hair curlers set and lips were painted!
Chelsie’s dress was a gorgeous classic white, with a sweetheart neckline and jewelled detailing across waist. The skirt has the perfect amount of ‘swish’ and looked really elegant on our blushing bride! As for the bridesmaids, they all looking beautiful in their off-white jewelled gowns with bright pink waist sashes for the youngsters and lace detailing for the adults! Each carried a miniature bouquet of gypsophila and roses tied in ribbon.
Over at the groom’s prep, everything was a little calmer! It wasn’t long before they all got suited and booted, even watching tie knotting videos, just to be sure they’d got it just right! Ryan’s initialed cufflinks were a lovely touch and it wasn’t long now until the ceremony. Just don’t forget the rings!
Back at the bride’s preparations, everything was set. Dresses on, make up done, flowers in hand… It was time for a wedding!
Chelsie got to travel in style to St Mary’s Church. She was picked up by a showstopping classic Beauford. Adorned, or course, with pink ribbons all over!
Their ceremony was a beautiful one, with singing, laughter and some tears!! Happy ones though, because now, Chelsie and Ryan had now become Mr & Mrs King! After a phenomenal amount of confetti thrown their way, it was time to head on over to the reception.
Sketchley Grange Hotel was a gorgeous location, check out their wedding information here. The guests all got settled at their tables and waited for the arrival of the new Mr & Mrs King. After the wedding breakfast, speeches took place and filled the room with laughter and tears.
They opted for a less traditional hog roast in the evening and it was still a beautiful day for it! The sun shone down brighter than it had earlier so friends and family enjoyed the weather outside. For those who didn’t want to get their tans topped up, entertainment was aplenty indoors too. There was a photobooth, which always goes down well! A croupier, poker, blackjack, all that casino style stuff. For the kids (and likely the adults, too) a popcorn maker!
The evening entertainment wasn’t lacking either, with singer Andy The Soul Man on hand to bring the songs that got friends and family up on their feet after Chelsie and Ryan shared their first dance as husband and wife.
It’s also worth mentioning, we adored the cake – a 4 tier simplistic designed piece, with rose and lace detailing! Oh, and Chelsie, the “I do” shoes – excellent!!
Thanks for having us there on your special day. We are really glad we could capture it on film for you. We wish you all the best in married life, you are an amazing couple!
