Mr & Mrs Bradbury Cox | St Giles Church Wedding

St Giles Church

Sophie and Nathan had a beautiful ceremony on 28th May at St Giles Church. This was easily the most colourful theme we’ve ever witnessed! Bridal prep began in the morning for Sophie and her “bride’s squad”. The hair and makeup was in full swing while the girls were sipping on some bubbly. The colourful touches were apparent early on, bridemaids wore a perfect set of floor length one-shoulder gowns, each in a different colour of the rainbow. They also all carried a gorgeous bunch of oversized daisies in a sunrise themed palette.

The beautiful bride herself stood out in the spectrum of colours in a pure white dress with lace sleeves. She’s kept a touch of the rainbow though, with a stunning rainbow rose bouquet.

After an emotional moment of Sophie’s father seeing her for the first time, it was into car and the vintage VW campervan and off to St Giles Church. The groomsmen and Nathan also wore the colour scheme brilliantly, with rainbow rose boutonnieres to match the bride’s bouquet. Their ties also matched to the bridesmaid’s dresses and the dark blue suits enhanced the vibrant feel.

At the church, with all the guests ready, three sweet flower girls took to the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids. Then Sophie’s turn was next – she absolutely could not hold back tears when Nathan saw her coming down the aisle. We don’t think there was a dry eye in the whole room!

Musicians played and hymns were sung and soon enough… Sophie and Nathan became Mr & Mrs Bradbury-Cox!!

The sun shone almost as beautifully as the bride herself as everyone headed out to celebrate with the newlyweds.

The next stop was Barton Hall for their reception. There was live entertainment and plenty of mingling while the dinner was being prepared and the rainbow bunting was a lovely touch to the room. Leicester City had also not long won the Champions League so there was an ode to them in the form of flags and clappers just before the speeches. By the time speeches came about, the pressure was mostly off and the happy couple were looking relaxed and smiley.

The final wedding day traditions are usually the cake cutting and the first dance and Mr & Mrs Bradbury Cox opted for a first song. Though in a bit of a twist on tradition, they sang, rather than danced! Sophie and Nathan chose Disney’s Frozen soundtrack song Love Is An Open Door to sing in their new lives together.

Congratulations to the amazing couple, thank you for having us at your wedding. It was an honour to film and we all hope that you have a life together as beautiful and colourful as your wedding day!

Mr & Mrs Rose | Kilworth House Wedding

Kilworth House

Kilworth House played host to an absolutely stunning wedding on May 16th this spring. We were lucky enough to spend the whole day capturing the marriage on film for Jessica and Chris.

This was definitely one of the most emotional weddings we’ve ever attended and the action morning began with hair and make up preparations for Jess, her little girl Sienna and the rest of the bridal party. Jess had also written a beautiful note for her father whilst the hair and make up was underway.

As there were two of us videoing, we managed to be with Chris too during the morning. The bride and groom had also written letters for each other to ready whilst getting ready, which was incredibly emotional all round!

Chris and his groomsmen got to enjoy a glass or two of liquid courage whilst the sun shone down. We were particularly excited to use our drone to record some wedding footage for the first time! It was a great chance to get some unique shots for their special day.

As the ceremony drew closer and guests began to arrive, it was apparent that nerves were on the increase! Jess had the final touches put to her hair and makeup. Her wedding gown was stunning, with sparkling crystal detailing over the lace, which was perfectly matching her veil and jewellery.

The bridesmaids and her daughter went ahead and the rest of the guests filled up The Orangery. Now, with Chris at the alter, there was only a short time to wait. Even the registrar helped calm nerves from the groom, with some advise to help holding back the tears!

Jess began the descent of the stairs with her father before joining her guests and husband to be for the ceremony.  The love in the room was so clear and the guests erupted with applause once the ceremony was complete! The marriage certificate was signed and Sienna joined Mr & Mrs Rose for their first “official” family cuddles!

The party moved outside to mingle and have drinks while the room changed for the wedding breakfast. Everyone enjoyed spending some of the lovely day out in the sunshine!

Speeches were full of laughter and memories, the new happy couple enjoyed the wedding breakfast with the rest of their guests too.

As is to be expected at wedding receptions, alcohol usually has a strong presence. This wedding was no exception. We’re sure Chris wasn’t entirely expecting every part of the day to go as it did! There was a bit of a bet put in place that meant the groom got a little bit richer…and a little bit soggier! We’ll update you here soon if the happy couple don’t mind sharing the moment with you all!

As the sun set on Kilworth House, the party began with the all important first dance for the newlywed Mr & Mrs Rose. Jess also shared a lovely dance with her father before the rest of the guests got to enjoying the music for the whole night through!

Thanks so much to Chris and Jess. We loved being able to film at this location and capture all these memories on film for you.

Wishing you all the love and luck in the world, you are a truly perfect couple!

Enjoy our highlight film of Mr & Mrs Rose’s wedding.
