Mr and Mrs Tomlin | The Swan Inn Wedding

The Swan Inn

The Swan Inn hosted the reception of a beautiful wedding earlier this month! On 15th January, Sharon and Magnus became Mr & Mrs Tomlin. Sharon began the morning the only way a bride should… with Prosecco! Actually, for those of you eagle eyed viewers, you probably would have noticed the Red Bull can on the dresser. Gotta keep your energy up somehow!

The bridesmaid’s had the prettiest pastel rose bouquets and the boutonnieres were complimenting in their matching cream colouring. And the bride’s heart shaped bouquet was just the right amount of subtle and adorable!

Sharon and the bridal party enjoyed some pampering and when their hair and makeup was complete, it was time to don their dresses. The bridesmaid’s all stood in matching dark grey floor length gowns – those kinds that you can tie in 8 different ways, so they perfectly suit each woman! Sharon wore classic white, her dress was a fit and flare style with a beautiful train and veil.

Over at the church, Magnus, friends and family all eagerly awaited the arrival of the beautiful bride. She did not disappoint and even braved the brisk weather whilst her bridal party and the groomsmen lead the way in their faux fur jackets. Sharon looked stunning as she entered the chuch, all smiles, ready to see Magnus for the first time on their wedding day!

The service was beautiful, the certificate was signed and just about everyone in the room got teary eyed. It was time to head out for a drive to the reception venue – The Swan Inn.

Photo opportunities were well underway once all the guests had arrived. The newlyweds posed for plenty of pictures with friends and family. Even the weather was kind to them for the occasion!

The Swan Inn was a lovely location for the new Mr & Mrs Tomlin’s reception and they made use of the intimate space well. There was a candy cart, a dance floor and even a huge profiterole tower!!

The speeches were heartfelt and emotional, the magician was a perfect entertainer too.

Cake cutting is always an important first on a wedding day and Sharon & Magnus weren’t missing out! But with their own little twist on it, there wasn’t a knife in sight. Yes, that is a wonderfully crafted 3 tier wedding cake being cut, with a trowel. Perfectly unique! And the intricately decorated accompanying floral cupcakes were just too beautiful for words!

Finally, it was time for the dance floor. Sharon and Magnus stepped out for their first dance. Their friends and family crowded round to celebrate the occasion.

Thanks to Sharon & Magnus for making our job really easy because it is clear you two are made for each other! Congratulations!
